Finchetts helping bring the Branxholme FNC facility upgrade to life.

There’s plenty happening with the Branxholme FNC facility upgrade at Branxholme Recreation Reserve, and Finchetts is helping bring it together with exterior cladding and plumbing work above and below ground.

The Branxholme-Wallacedale Football Netball Club secured more than $1 million in funding in late 2024 to help modernise the reserve and improve the facilities used by players, netballers and the wider Branxholme community.

Finchetts has been working alongside builder Robert Walter on several parts of the project. Most recently, we’ve been installing the exterior cladding, helping bring the outside of the facility together as the project takes shape. It’s a visible part of our team’s contribution to the upgraded building.

A fair bit happening below ground, too

But a lot of our work on this one will eventually disappear from view. The Finchetts team has also completed the underslab drainage and stormwater, as well as installing a large Taylex treatment plant and irrigation system to manage wastewater at the site.It’s a good example of the different stages that go into a project like this.

Some of the work is easy to see once the building is finished, while plenty of the important plumbing infrastructure is doing its job quietly behind the scenes or underground.

For us, it’s also great to be involved in another project that will have a lasting benefit for a local sporting club and the community around it.
