Celebrating our local artists

October 20, 2025

Finchetts was proud to once again support the Hamilton Rotary Art Show, sponsoring the Best Oil Painting Award at this year’s event.

The winning artwork, “Air on a Blue String” by Casterton artist Julia Francese, captivated the judges with its creativity and technique. The award was presented by Lauran van Katwyk, Curator at the Horsham Regional Art Gallery, who praised the high calibre of artworks on display.

Congratulations to Art Show Director, Brian Jenkins and the entire Rotary team for delivering another outstanding event that showcased the region’s diverse artistic talent.

It’s fantastic to see the community come together to support local artists, with paintings valued at over $21,000 sold during the show. Profits from the event will go towards Rotary’s important community initiatives – from supporting local groups and youth leadership programs, to global projects such as polio eradication and malaria protection nets.

A big thank you to Rotary Hamilton for keeping art, creativity, and community spirit thriving in our region!

Case study: Making the change from windmills to set-and-forget solar – Robert’s experience
Robert upgraded his sheep and cattle farm from ageing windmills to solar pumping with Finchetts, securing reliable livestock water through dry seasons. With less maintenance, lower energy costs and no waiting for the wind, the result is a true “set and forget” system and greater peace of mind.
